Hi, I'm Mateusz Ciszczoń, an all-around Full-Stack Developer with a creative and analytical mind that likes to solve complex problems in a neat and simple way.

There is nothing more rewarding and fulfilling for me than to have an opportunity to put all my skills in use in order to achieve the best possible results. I like my solutions to run tight, as creating anything slapdash makes me actually unhappy!  I have a background in many different fields, having worked with graphic design and user interface, through front- and back-end development, to even music and sound design. I'm a deeply humanistic person, so I always try to have a bigger picture of whatever I'm dealing with.

- **Full Stack Engineer at FLYR Labs** (2022 – 2024)
  I joined a small team building xCheck application for managing the Digital Customer Experience for Airlines. The team consisted of 3-4 experienced and self-lead software engineers, each of us holding a wide range of responsibilities—from building and managing the technical roadmap, through daily development, debugging, maintenance, and supporting clients, too.
  
  During my time at FLYR I had the opportunity to work on open source projects (e.g. Dacite for Python), refactor huge parts of the existing codebase, propose technologies and tools, build many PoC solutions, some of which have been included into the main application as well.
- **Project Development Manager at ESTAR GAMES** (2022 – 2023)
- **Software Engineer at Wix.com** (2021 – 2022)
  I was a Project Lead, architect and a main developer for a large set of new functionalities that were added to the Modalyst platform. The work included working closely with different teams within my company (product owners, developers, QAs, copywriters), as well as with business & technical teams of a business partner, planning, coordinating and overseeing the work of all these parties.
- **Full Stack Developer at Infinite Loop** (2018 – 2021)
  I worked on Modalyst platform, working daily with both Python & Django, as well as React and MobX. I collaborated closely with the team of other developers, QAs and POs, as well as with the business client directly. I also took part in job interviewing processes.
- **Web Developer, Art Director at Kalisz Ambient Festival** (2015 – 2017)
  Kalisz Ambient Festival is an annual musical festival in Poland, dedicated to fans of ambient, electronic and experimental music.
  
  Between 2015 and 2017 I worked closely with the Kalisz Ambient Festival team both as an Art Director and a Full-Stack Developer. I was responsible for the entire festival's branding—from designing the logo and all other promotional materials (social media graphics, posters), creating and managing the festival's website, to recording the live shows and then preparing promotional videos to be published on social media profiles on Facebook and YouTube.

## Projects

- **LOŻA Oficyna** — https://lozaoficyna.pl
  LOŻA Oficyna is a small and independent music label that I have co-founded with a few friends. We focus on dark and alternative music, and we strive to release valuable, collectible physical releases.

Within LOŻA Oficyna I am responsible for running the label's website, preparing graphical and video materials, as well as handling the digital distribution of the music and the production process.
- **Rozlicz-Estateguru.pl** — https://rozlicz-estateguru.pl
  A simple tool dedicated to Polish taxpayers, that makes it very easy to calculate income from Estateguru investments and the amount of tax to be paid. It's free and open-source.
- **Travel Light** — https://travel-light.pl
  Travel Light are organizing personal development and coaching workshops, as well as individual sessions, which are all based on the Integral Theory developed by an American philosopher Ken Wilber.

During our prolonged and fruitful collaboration, I have been responsible for creating the brand identity and designing all the related media (colour palette, logo), as well as creating projects for both prints and the Internet. I have also been responsible for creating Travel Light's website from the ground up, which runs on a CMS and is successfully managed by the client himself without any necessity for my intervention.

Currently, I am still providing support for my client, consulting and creating different media: graphics, posters and videos.
- **Borderline Experiences**
  Borderline Experiences is an independent artistic & cultural initiative, born from the need to get back to experiencing what is real and important. Its main vocation is organising musical concerts and other socio-cultural events, which settle on the idea of direct, honest and friendly relations between people.

I am the co-founder of the initiative and am also responsible for managing the B/E website, creating various promotional materials, such as videos, graphics, posters, etc.
- **Rabona**
  I took over the project with the plan of developing it further. I added new features, refactored a lot of the existing backend code, created a new modern front end interface using React. I also promoted the project and brought in a few people to help manage the community.
- **Gromada Łętownia Association** — https://letownia.org
  The Gromada Łętownia Association is an organization established in 2025, whose mission is to cultivate the cultural, historical, and natural heritage of the village of Łętownia and its surroundings. Through our activities, we aim to build social ties, develop local culture and tradition, as well as support initiatives that contribute to the growth of civic and social awareness.

In the Association I have the role of the President of the Board and am responsible of managing the overall activity of the organisation, its members, finances, etc. For me it is a great way to engage in my local community, as well as learn invaluable skills.
