  Corporate anti-spam group at McAfee
- **Founder, CTO at Deersoft, Inc** (2002 – 2002)
  Founded a successful company providing commercial anti-spam products based on the open-source SpamAssassin engine.
  
  Sold the company to Network Associates to become the McAfee corporate anti-spam product.
- **Founder, CTO at Loka.com** (2008 – 2008)
  Temporarily stealthy startup company in the online market research space
- **Founder, CTO at Panop.com** (1998 – 2000)
  Founded and grew Panopticon as a product discovery and recommendation platform.
  
  Supported many high-profile early internet companies with the product, culminating in an acquisition by Broadbase for over $100 million.

  Designed and implemented all software for the gumstix computing platform, a linux server the approximate size of a stick of chewing gum (80x20x6mm).

  Cognoa is a pediatric behavioral health company developing prescription digital diagnostics and therapeutics to improve the lives and outcomes of children and families living with behavioral health conditions, starting with Autism.
- **Non-executive director at Cygnet Health Care** (2000 – 2014)
  Board of directors of parent company overseeing one of Britain’s leading independent providers of psychiatric care. Cygnet operates 17 centres with more than 740 inpatient beds, and about $160 million in annual revenue, covering acute psychiatric care, nursing homes providing long term and respite care, Detox5, an opiate detoxification centre, and care homes for people with Autism.
  
  Completed sale to UHS in 2014 for approx. $335 million.
