## About

I’m a French agile developer with over seven years of experience, including more than five years with Java and two years with front-end technologies like AngularJS. After spending a couple of years overseas, I’m back in New Zealand with the intention of settling down there for good.

I’m passionate about web development and I love to learn new techniques and frameworks. I have worked with and experimented technologies such as Node, ES6, Meteor and React on my spare time. I also enjoy working in agile environments, using best practices and getting things done.

- **Senior Developer at Propellerhead** (2016 – present)
- **Java / Web Developer at Norsys** (2013 – 2016)
  Norsys is a French IT company which is specialized in Java and Web development. They encourage best practices like agile methodologies, unit testing and clean coding.
  
  I started there by working on an application aiming to create and manage customer marketing campaigns. The solution was developed with a front end using jQuery and Bootstrap 3 and a back end using Spring MVC and Batch. The datas were stored using Elasticsearch to enable blazing fast searches and profiling.
  
  I worked then on an application to dematerialize administrative forms for big construction companies. We used an AngularJS front end with a Spring REST back end and JMS to coordinate operations. We had some real time feeling by using WebSockets.
  
  In both cases, the team was using Scrum methodology to add some agility in our workflow and test driven development to guarantee the best quality for the applications.
  
  Additionnaly of my day to day work, I commited myself in the company technological community to learn and help other learn about new technique or frameworks.

- **Mainframe Lead Developer at Move Solutions** (2011 – 2011)
  Move Solutions is an IT service company specialized in data migration. After working for some time there through Solutec, I had the opportunity to get hired and take more responsibilities.
  
  So I became lead developer and got to coordinate a team of three developers, manage day to day client relationship, certify the data delivered and monitor the returns from the validation team.

- **Java / Mainframe Developer at Solutec** (2008 – 2010)
  Solutec is a French IT service company. It is were I landed my first job after finishing my studies. Through Solutec, I have been involved in projects at Renault Trucks (Volvo IT) and Move Solutions.
  
  I first took part in a project aiming to implement a new warranty management and callback process at Renault Trucks. Knowing both Java / Oracle and Mainframe / DB2, I have been able to work on all parts of the project from the back end to the front end. I also wrote technical specifications and coordinated offshore developers.
  
  At Move Solutions, I participated in a data migration project for AG2R La Mondiale, a pension fund managing several millions contracts. Despite being a junior developer, I was able to evolve quickly in a very dynamic and professional team.

- **Java Developer at J.P. Morgan** (2008 – 2008)
  I did a six months internship at J.P Morgan Private Banking in Geneva as part of my master's degree. It gave me the opportunity to get to know the high level of expectation in an international company where professionalism and security were a priority.
  
  During this internship, I worked on a project to update the client website of the bank and refresh its infrastructure. My main task have been to take care of the replacement of the existing reporting library. I performed a feasibility study and then implemented the selected solution, JasperReports. The development was done with the help of offshore developers that I had to coordinate. I also took park in the configuration and the testing of the new infrastructure.

- **Java / Oracle Developer at Transactor Technologies** (2011 – 2013)
  Transactor Technologies is a New Zealand company who is helping retail companies to strengthen their bond with their clients. They have a complete platform of tools to manage the customer base, their loyalty account, their gift cards and to create target promotional campaigns to reward the existing customers or attract new ones.
  
  During the time I worked there, I had the opportunity to get involved in important projects for Subway Europe, Bangkok public transports or New Zealand Westfield centres. I also participated in the development of the company brand new cloud point of sale.
  
  I had been involve in all parts of the projects I worked on, from designing the solutions to the production deployment, through development and test. I had a leading role in the improvement of the development and deployment process in the company.
