## About

Hello hello. I'm building pediatric healthcare experiences to help kids stay healthy, as easily as possible.

On the side, I help small business owners solve problems with technology, so they can reclaim their time and focus on the things that matter.

What this might look like:
\- Build websites for businesses, portfolios, or for fun
\- Create bespoke tools and systems to work more efficiently
\- Connect systems and tools together I enjoy working with small business owners and individuals. Even more fun if they work in climate, arts, music, or education.

- **Co-Founder and CTO at Generate: Northeastern University's Student-Led Product Development Studio** (2015 – 2017)
I co-founded Generate, a student-led product development studio to expand the Northeastern University entrepreneurship ecosystem. Entrepreneurs needed technical support and education, and engineers needed projects to practice their skills and understand the business considerations in building.

We built the organization from the ground up, raised $500k in funding, led a team of 25 through two years and eight client projects, and successfully handed it off to new leadership. The organization thrives today, with hundreds of team members, dedicated space on campus, and expanded programs to further support the Northeastern community.

- **Systems Software Engineer at Amazon Robotics** (2016 – 2016)
I completed two projects during a six-month internship at Amazon Robotics.
\1. I created an application for processing hardware log files to analyze performance and identify issues with an experimental system for dramatically improving the speed of scanning inventory barcodes. The application periodically scraped hardware files, cleaned and structured the data, and create database entries for analysis. Built using Java and Bash.
\2. I developed and assembled an electronic system to detect objects at packing stations in warehouses as a measurement of the current backlog on a specific station. When the backlog reached a minimum or maximum threshold, relevant personnel were alerted in order to make adjustments. I tested the system in a live warehouse and created a plan for improving the system in subsequent versions, including the addition of data capture to analyze event timing.
- **Programs Lead, Operations Associate at The Michael J. and Ann Sherman Center for Engineering Entrepreneurship Education** (2015 – 2016)
I was the founding member of the Sherman Center's operations team. I worked with the program manager to establish relationships with on-campus organizations, and solidify the Sherman Center's positioning as the nexus of engineering and entrepreneurship at Northeastern University.

Designed and executed a social media campaign to reengage the Sherman Center community and improve event and programming participation. Planned and facilitated technical workshops and speaker events in collaboration with Northeastern University organizations and offices.
- **SQA Engineer at iRhythm Technologies, Inc.** (2017 – 2017)
As a part of iRhythm's Software Quality Assurance team, I performed verification testing of various products, exceeding regulatory standards for medical device hardware testing. I designed and implemented an automation platform in Python to reduce the time required for testing by 75% of the original.
- **Product Development Intern at Labsphere, Inc.** (2015 – 2015)
Designed and developed a product to trigger photonics hardware devices through TTL voltage signaling. Projected $1M in additional revenue through this product. My work included developing device firmware, implementing a simple text-based user interface to enable non-technical users to control connected hardware, and conducting compatibility and repeatability tests.
- **Technical Analyst at IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator** (2015 – 2017)
IDEA runs a specialized fund to support early-staging ventures in prototyping and validating their businesses. The team behind investment decisions was looking to improve their technical sophistication, and I was brought on to make it happen.
